The global growth of easyHotel will come through franchising and the first easyHotel franchisee in Basel, Switzerland had already signed up before the first easyHotel in London was open. The success of easyHotel in Basel has been as impressive as the easyHotel in London. It opened on 5 September with prices starting from £11 and in its first month had a 97% occupancy rate.
