Berlin Carnival of Cultures June 10th -13th 2011

The Berlin Carnival of Cultures is a weekend when a hundred thousand people take to the streets to celebrate the different cultures in modern day Berlin. It started in 1995 and has gone from strength to strength.

Make sure you are in the city to experience the unique atmosphere of Berlin and the people - cosmopolitan, multicultural and passionate about enjoying themselves!

See the 4 days street festival, and don't miss the big parade that takes place on the 12th of June. This lasts about 8 hours with nearly 5,000 participants with floats, dancers and an incredible diversity of costumes.

Acrobats, wizards, tight rope and stilt walkers, clairvoyants, percussionists, curiosity marketeers and other wondrous creatures bustled on the green field at Blucherplatz.

With culinary delights and beautiful arts and crafts and over 400 stalls there will be something for everyone!
