London and Switzerland both enjoying high occupancy rates

The first easyHotel opened in London's Earls Court in August offering rooms for as little as £20 and achieved a 97% occupancy rate in its first month, with the rate increasing to 98% occupancy in September. After only 5 days in October the London easyHotel occupancy rate for the entire month is already running at 93%. These very high occupancy rates have been achieved with easyHotel in London spending practically no money on advertising.

easyHotel to open 10 hotels across Germany

easyHotel in Basel, Switzerland is now open. With prices starting at £11 (CHF 24) a night for an en-suite double room, easyHotel has brought unprecedented good value to Switzerland where hotel rooms are usually sold for a much higher price. easyHotel in Basel has 24 rooms, varying in size from 9 square metres to 16 square metres and is located in the centre of town at Riehenring 19. All rooms have a double bed and an en-suite shower room as well as pay as you go TV. 21 rooms have a window and those without a window have air conditioning. Sales at easyHotel in Basel are also showing very encouraging early signs and in the two days since opening the hotel has been selling room nights at well over its capacity on a daily basis.
