Sales at easyHotel in Basel are also showing very encouraging early signs and in the two days since opening the hotel has been selling room nights at well over its capacity on a daily basis.

The first easyHotel opened its doors on 1 August and has been full or nearly full every night for over a month, without the need for any advertising expenditure. Prices start at £20 for an en-suite double room and are currently priced up to about £45 during periods of high demand.
