London, Basel, Budapest, Zurich…and now Luton. The original home of Stelios’ ‘easy’ empire is to welcome the latest addition to the easyHotel brand. Opening in April and only a few minutes cab ride from the airport, the hotel is now taking bookings at the special introductory rate of £19.95 per room per night, marking the arrival of Stelios in Luton in 1995.

With its focus on offering simple comfort and great value, easyHotel.com already has a strong presence in Central London and is increasingly looking at key airport locations in order to appeal to the pocket of the low cost traveller. Heathrow is poised to launch in the summer and more hotels are due to be unveiled across city centres and urban locations throughout Europe in 2008.

Lawrence Alexander, CEO of easyHotel, says: “We are really excited to be opening in Luton. Offering great value for travellers, the hotel is perfect for those who want to avoid early starts, costly cab rides or blowing money on expensive hotel rooms during a stop-over. It also seems appropriate that our first airport focused hotel is to open where Stelios’ low-cost, business vision began over a decade ago.”
