August in Liverpool

Liverpool continues its 2018 with a range of events, activities and festivals to cater to everyone, here’s a couple from August to start you off:

Extraordinary structures made of cardboard, tape and community spirit – get involved with these castle inspired structures from the 9-12 August. Anyone can sign up, so why not join the hundreds of volunteers working with thousands of cardboard boxes and also help to topple them over at the end of the weekend!

Watch Britain’s super-human Paralympic athletes take on the world’s best at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool this 12-18 August. This family friendly sports festival is a great opportunity to watch world class sporting action ahead of the Paralympic games.

Enjoy live music at this annual event, in the city where it all began. You don’t even need to be a Beatles fan to enjoy the festival (although it might help), taking place in venues across the city, 22-28 August.
