Covid-19- An update from easyHotel
Following government advice on 10th May, easyHotel will be removing all UK hotels from sale until 30 June 2020 inclusive. This will be monitored on an ongoing basis so please keep checking for updates. For key workers and NHS staff who require accommodation assistance, please contact us via our help centre.
We understand the growing concern of our customers regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and would like to thank you for your patience and continued custom during this time of uncertainty.
Our guests and their safety and wellbeing will always be our first priority. We would like to reassure you that our staff are taking all necessary precautionary measures to ensure that all of our hotels remain as hygienic as possible. This includes the use of disposable gloves when cleaning, increased frequency of cleaning in all guest contact surfaces, the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer and other preventative measures.
We kindly ask that our guests also adhere to government recommendations regarding symptoms, including the maintenance of hygiene at the consideration of others.
easyHotel are also committed to offering our customers flexible booking options during these uniquely challenging times.
We have therefore made the following adjustments to our individual traveller booking policies:
Fully flexible rate bookings
Book with confidence and cancel up-to 12 noon on day of arrival. We recommend customers book this rate to ensure maximum flexibility.
Semi Flex and non-refundable rate bookings
UK Hotels: All existing, Semi – Flex and non-refundable bookings made before 18th April 2020 for stay dates up to 30 June 2020 inclusive can be either rebooked (at no charge but subject to any price differences) or refunded. Guests with existing, non-refundable bookings must contact the hotel directly to discuss their re-book or refund.
For continental European hotels, please contact the booked hotel directly using the relevant hotel page contact information on our website.
The easyHotel.com Covid-19 policy only applies to bookings made directly on the easyHotel.com website. It does not include bookings made on any other platform such as Booking.com or Expedia.com who have their own policy in place.
Our Force Majeure dates are subject to constant review based on official guidance and therefore guests with existing non-refundable bookings for stay dates from 1st July 2020 onwards should regularly visit our website for updates.
With widespread awareness of COVID-19, all new non-refundable or Semi Flex bookings made as of 18th April 2020 will not fall under the easyHotel COVID -19 policy and cancellation will remain in line with the original booking terms and conditions.
