May 2008, the super budget hotel operator, is looking to substantially increase its market share with the re-launch of its website at The revamped website benefits from a new look and improved navigation to help customers better find what they are looking for and make the booking process much simpler.

The new easyHotel site, which is part of a £150k system investment in 2008, allows customers to view and manage their bookings and transactions as well as maintain their contact details. Coupled with a simplified 3 step booking process, customers will find the whole process has been designed to be much quicker and far more intuitive.

Improvements have also been made to the presentation of product information, with more images, more detailed hotel information and expanded local services and attractions content as well as Google maps to help with travel plans.

Founded in 2005, easyHotel has ambitious plans to have over 200 hotels under franchise within ten years and the website re-development has been designed to manage that growth . The technology behind both the website and the reservation system are scalable to ensure that the increased volumes of business from a rapidly increasing number of hotels will be easily integrated.

Says easyHotel Commercial Director, Calum Russell: "At a time when travelers' on a budget are becoming more discerning, we believed the time was right to update the easyHotel website. Our main objective was to develop a better visitor experience, one that would help attract new customers as well as offer existing customers an improved service.
