Super-budget hotel operator, easyHotel, has completed a deal that will see it expand its presence in the capital to four hotels. The deal with the Splendid Hotel Group, which already operates the easyHotel London Victoria, puts easyHotel well on course to achieve its target of 200 hotels within ten years.

Scheduled to open for business in early October, easyHotel Paddington will target cash conscious business travellers and leisure visitors to London, with prices starting from just £25 per room per night.

This latest addition to the easyHotel portfolio will offer 47 rooms and is located just 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station. As with all easyHotels, Paddington will only be bookable through the website which uses airline style pricing to encourage customers to book early to get the best rates.

Lawrence Alexander, CEO, says: “Splendid have had great success operating easyHotel Victoria over the past 16 months and we are delighted with their endorsement of the brand by committing to this prime London location, close to one of the capital’s busiest rail terminals. easyHotel Paddington will offer fantastic value for money and be perfect for those who have missed their last train home or want to enjoy the sites of the capital on a budget, not to mention those air travellers that need to be up early to catch the Heathrow Express .”

Talking about their ambitions for easyHotel , Al-karim Nathoo, Associate Partner of the Splendid Hotel Group says, “The easyHotel brand and super-budget model have huge growth potential in the UK and we hope to replicate the success we have enjoyed with easyHotel Victoria. This new development at Paddington is the next step in our plans to invest up to £50m to operate ten easyHotels within three years. We expect to announce further locations within the next 6 months ”
