Where to eat

Within one minute’s walk of the hotel you’ll find a series of restaurants including Italian, Chinese and Malaysian, but if you want to venture further afield The Gannet (featured in the 2017 Good Food Guide) is just a short bus ride away.
What to see
Glasgow’s main shopping centre, with all the main stores, is just minutes’ walk from the hotel. For those seeking culture why not take a stroll to the Kelvingrove gallery and museum, with over 8,000 exhibits including everything from dinosaurs to Dutch Old Masters, or take a look at the Zaha Hadid-designed Riverside museum of transport, dubbed ‘Glasgow’s Guggenheim’? Pollock Country park, with its 360 acres of woodland and impressive Burrell Collection, is also worth a stroll and Glasgow’s famous Botanic Gardens are also a short subway ride away. If it’s something a little more lively you’re after, Glasgow is known for its thriving bar and music culture. Try the Drygate Brewery for craft ales and good craic.
